WA Sinfonietta presents “American Icons,” a program celebrating the bold spirit of American composers Charles Ives, Lukas Foss, and Elliott Carter. Featuring guest artist Carol Wincenc, flute, under the direction of Charles Neidich. The concert takes place on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at 7:30 PM at Good Shepherd–Faith Presbyterian Church in New York City.

Charles Neidich offers a personal introduction to WA Sinfonietta’s next program, “American Icons,” celebrating the visionary sound world of Ives, Foss, and Carter. With guest artist Carol Wincenc, this program brings together some of the most defining voices in American music.
